Speakers
Maxime Bernier
Founder and leader of the People’s Party of Canada (PPC)
Max Bernier remains one of Canada’s most fearless and principled political voices—unyielding in his defence of freedom, smaller government, and provincial autonomy. A former cabinet minister with a track record of bold reforms, he broke from the Conservative Party in 2018, denouncing its moral decay and launching the People’s Party of Canada. Though outside Parliament, his influence continues to shake the establishment and drive grassroots momentum across the country. The PPC, now Canada’s 6th-largest federal party, stands as a testament to his courage, conviction, and unwavering vision for a freer nation.
As keynote speaker, Maxime Bernier’s State of Our Nation address will offer a bold vision for Canada’s future—one that prioritizes sovereignty, freedom, and common-sense policies to strengthen the country for future generations. His message will resonate with those seeking to challenge the status quo and bring about meaningful change.

Bruce Pardy is a Canadian law professor at Queen’s University (currently on leave) and Executive Director of Rights Probe, a law-and-liberty project. He is a senior fellow with the Fraser Institute, Macdonald-Laurier Institute, and Frontier Centre for Public Policy. A classically liberal legal scholar, he critiques legal progressivism, the discretionary administrative/managerial state, and related issues in environmental governance, property rights, constitutional law, civil liberties, free speech, and the rule of law.
He has taught at law schools in Canada, the United States, and New Zealand; practiced civil litigation (including at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP in Toronto); and served as an adjudicator and mediator on Ontario’s Environmental Review Tribunal (2005–2014). He co-created the Free North Declaration (a civil-liberties response to COVID-era overreach) and writes regularly for outlets including the National Post, Financial Post, Epoch Times, and Brownstone Institute.

Dr. David M. Haskell
Author and Professor
David Haskell is a social scientist and cultural commentator. For over two decades, he has served as a professor at Wilfrid Laurier University, cross-appointed to the Religious Studies and Journalism programs. Before earning his PhD and entering academia, he worked as a TV reporter and newspaper columnist.
Professor Haskell’s book, Christ or Collapse, is a straight‑talking look at what happens when societies move away from Christian values. Haskell argues that communities tend to be stronger, safer, and more stable when those beliefs shape everyday life — and that things start to fall apart when they’re pushed aside. He also challenges modern progressive ideas, saying they often sound good but don’t actually work in real life. The book’s main message is that returning to Christian principles is the best way to rebuild a healthy, thriving society.
